WELCOME TO MY SITE:
I, Mr. Kiran Lamichhane (Nepali: किरण लामिछाने), is an environmental researcher and data analyst. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate and teaching assistant in Environmental Science in University of North Texas (http://www.unt.edu), Texas, USA. My specialization is in Ecotoxicology, Aquatic Toxicology, Mechanistic Modeling, and Good Lab Practices (GLPs)
After completion of my master’s degree in mountain environment, I joined in New ERA Limited (http://www.newera.com.np) as an environmental researcher. I involved in half dozen of research work related to environmental conservation and public health. I developed skills to write proposals, design research tools, analyze and interpret data and write reports in qualitative and quantitative research.
I also served in Central Department of Environmental Science, Tribhuvan University (http://www.cdes.edu.np) for more than two years as a Lecturer. I taught environmental economics and mountain environment for the master’s degree students and also supervised students for their thesis.
Because of my professional dynamism, I was offered an environmental data analyst role in MEL Research (http://www.m-e-l.co.uk) in United Kingdom in 2008. I involved in data analysis in a dozen of environmental, recycling, health and safety research in MEL.
During my research, I accomplish an extensive field knowledge and experiences. I traveled more than 50 districts in Nepal. I have presented my research in national and international conferences in China, Germany, Nepal, United Kingdom and United States of America.
